  12. Is it possible to save one of advanced data types
  13. such as Record, List, Table, Set, ... to disk?

  15. Then in another session, read this back in to an 
  16. Icon program.

  18. For the tree structure illustrated on pages 
  19. 189-192,it is possible to convert this to a string.
  20.  
  21. What I am looking for is disk storage of the 
  22. structure in its "native" form and then later 
  23. access to this structure. It would seem this would
  24. be a good feature for Icon.
  25.
